Danas je u Institutu zaposleno preko 300 doktora nauka i preko 200 doktoranada
koji rade na preko stotinu nacionalnih i međunarodnih projekata kao i u međunarodnim naučnoistraživačkim kolaboracijama u kojima je Republika Srbija član

The Vinča Institute of Nuclear Sciences welcomed a delegation from the Institute of Nuclear Physics of the Republic of Kazakhstan, led by Director General Sayabek Sakhiyev, Leading Researcher Yerzhan Mukhamedzhanov, and Second Secretary of the Embassy of the Republic of Kazakhstan to the Republic of Serbia, Seilkhan Aubakirov.

During the meeting, the participants discussed opportunities to strengthen cooperation between the two institutions in the fields of nuclear science and technology, with a particular focus on the exchange of knowledge and expertise, the implementation of joint research projects, the development of scientific capacities, and the enhancement of international partnerships.

The visit took place in a constructive atmosphere, with both sides expressing their commitment to expanding future cooperation in areas of mutual interest. The participants emphasized the importance of connecting research institutions and promoting international knowledge exchange as key prerequisites for the development of modern nuclear technologies intended exclusively for peaceful applications.

Next year, the Institute of Nuclear Physics of the Republic of Kazakhstan will celebrate its 70th anniversary. Today, the Institute employs around 700 staff members and is the country's only research institution dedicated to the peaceful use of nuclear energy, carrying out the full cycle of research and development activities—from fundamental and applied research to technology development and production. The Institute's work makes a significant contribution not only to scientific and technological progress but also to the protection and improvement of public health.
