About the Center
The Innovation and Project Management Center constitutes an important pillar of support for the Institute’s scientific research activities. The Center’s work includes the improvement of project management, support to researchers in the preparation and implementation of projects, protection of intellectual property, encouragement of innovation development and application of research results, as well as the provision of modern library and information services, thereby contributing to greater knowledge accessibility, visibility of scientific output, and its broader social and economic significance./p>
The Center is organized through three functional sectors:
Technology Transfer Sector
Responsible for establishing optimal conditions for the protection and valorization of intellectual property created at the Institute. This sector actively contributes to strengthening the link between science and industry through knowledge and technology transfer. It actively participates in the search for investors and helps researchers find a path for their innovation toward final application in industry. It advises and supports researchers in establishing their own spin-off companies.
Project Management Sector
Provides support to researchers throughout the entire project cycle – from identifying open calls, through planning and budgeting, to monitoring implementation and reporting. Through its database, it ensures the secure storage of all documents necessary for the proper implementation and administration of projects. Special attention is given to aligning project proposals with relevant national and international strategies.
Library Sector
Provides comprehensive support to scientific research activities through the acquisition and processing of library materials, maintenance of the institutional repository of scientific papers, provision of library and information services, organization of workshops and lectures, creation of digital tutorials and guides, promotion of Open Science principles, and monitoring of researchers’ citation impact.
