The visit followed the conference “TOWARDS A NUCLEAR FUTURE: European Partnerships for Serbia’s Energy Transition (powered by EDF)”, held on 16 December 2025 at the Embassy of France in Belgrade. The conference brought together representatives of institutions, academia, and industry to discuss partnerships and exchange experiences relevant to the energy transition of the Republic of Serbia.

The Vinča Institute views such engagements as an important contribution to building trust and ensuring continuity of cooperation between research institutions and international industrial partners—especially in fields that require the highest standards of quality, safety, and responsibility. We are confident that the exchange of experience and the direct introduction to the Institute’s research potential will further support the development of joint initiatives aimed at advancing knowledge, human resources, and sustainable partnerships in the period ahead.
