The Vinča Institute of Nuclear Sciences and the Institute Mihajlo Pupin signed an Agreement on scientific, technological, and business cooperation in Belgrade on 15th November 2025, establishing a framework for long-term and systematic collaboration between two leading research institutions in Serbia.
The Agreement defines cooperation in the development and promotion of joint research through national and international scientific research, development, and professional projects and programmes, as well as joint market engagement through the formation of dedicated teams, with the possibility of expanding cooperation to other areas of mutual interest.
This cooperation model contributes to better integration of scientific and professional resources and strengthens the link between science, technology, and industry. Particular emphasis is placed on connecting complementary institutions, infrastructure, and research capacities, as such integration enables complex research and engineering challenges to be addressed in an interdisciplinary manner.
The Director of the Vinča Institute, Dr Slavko Dimović, noted that he was very pleased with the signing of the Agreement.
“The Vinča Institute will be a strong and reliable partner in everything that follows – from research and development to concrete projects that create value for society and industry.”
