As part of the international project Renewable Energy and Water for the USA and Serbia, in which the research group from the Vinča Institute participates, a visit was conducted by two PhD students from the University of Toledo.

Tyler Brau is a PhD student at the Department of Physics at the University of Toledo, while Sanduni Premathilaka successfully defended her doctoral dissertation at the Department of Chemistry of the same university shortly after her visit to Serbia.

From February 10th to 14th, 2025, the delegation of the Institute for Nuclear Sciences Vinča, consisting of the director dr. Slavko Dimović and Milan Ljušić, made an official visit to the Joint Institute for Nuclear Research (JINR) in Dubna, in the Moscow Region.

Dr. Predrag Božović, the President of the Commission for Radiation and Nuclear Safety and Security at the Vinča Institute, appeared on the television program "150 Minutes" on Prva TV on February 4, 2025.

Organized by the Red Cross of Grocka and the Vinča Institute of Nuclear Sciences – Center Operativa, a successful voluntary blood donation campaign was held on February 6.

Thanks to the response of the employees, a significant number of blood units were collected, making a valuable contribution to ensuring the necessary blood supply. The event took place in a pleasant atmosphere, with excellent organization and cooperation among all participants.
