In June 2026, the Vinča Institute welcomed 135 students and their subject teachers from Svetozar Miletić Primary School in Zemun and Bora Stanković Primary School in Karavukovo.
Through discussions with researchers and master’s and doctoral students, the visitors had the opportunity to learn about contemporary scientific research and methods, as well as the objectives and results of international and national projects being carried out at the Vinča Institute.

A meeting was held at the Vinča Institute of Nuclear Sciences with a delegation from the Ministry of Mining and Energy, comprising Radoš Popadić, Assistant Minister, Miroslav Popović, Special Adviser to the Minister, and Ivana Radičević, Legal Adviser. Annual Awards
The Annual Award of the Vinča Institute of Nuclear Sciences is presented to researchers in recognition of outstanding scientific achievements attained at the Institute in the fields of research and activities defined by the Statute of the Vinča Institute of Nuclear Sciences. The awards are presented once a year for scientific achievements accomplished during the year for which the award is granted and the preceding calendar year.
